​Under the patronage and chairmanship of His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States and Chairman of the Higher Coordination Committee for Joint Arab Action, the Arab Dialogue Circle on Artificial Intelligence in the Arab World: "Innovative Applications and Ethical Challenges" was held over two days, 2 and 3 February at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States. The event was jointly organised by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, under the leadership of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, and Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, headed by His Excellency Dr. Abdul Majeed Al-Bunyan, in collaboration with the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.

General Secretariat convenes 48th ordinary session of Council of Arab Youth and Sports Ministers

​The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States (Social Affairs Sector – Youth and Sports Administration – Technical Secretariat of the Council of Arab Youth and Sports Ministers) convened the 48th ordinary session of the Council of Arab Youth and Sports Ministers, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Iraq. The session took place on 31 January in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani, Prime Minister of Iraq, who inaugurated the proceedings.
