The Secretary-General inaugurated the fair and was presented with an overview of the available books and references.

| Contributions from the Library of the General Secretariat to the Yemen Library in Hadhramaut Governorate |  | As
part of the efforts of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States to
support initiatives meant to revive libraries damaged by conflicts and wars in
Arab countries, the Library of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab
States contributed a large collection of books to the Yemeni Library in the
city of Mukalla, capital of Hadhramaut governorate. The collection includes
more than 6,000 books on joint Arab action and various human sciences in
Arabic, English, and French.

| Honouring institutions and figures with tangible contributions to preserving the Arab Document |  | The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States recognised the institutions and individuals who have made significant achievements and valuable contributions in the field of preserving the Arab Document. The recognition took place during the celebration of the Arab Document Day 2022, organised by the General Secretariat on 16 October in cooperation with the Arab Regional Branch of the International Council on Archives.
