The Arab Monetary Fund was established with the approval of the Economic and Social Council
The establishment of the Fund by its resolution No. 622 in its twenty-first session on 8/12/1975.
The Agreement for the Establishment of the Fund was promulgated on 27 April 1976 in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco.
The work began on 7/5/1977
