League's General Secretariat condemns Israeli occupation raids on Syria
	16/07/2025 The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States strongly condemned the raids carried out by the Israeli occupation forces on Syrian territory, including those targeting the General Staff headquarters in Damascus and the vicinity of the Presidential Palace. The General Secretariat regards these attacks as a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of an Arab state, a member of both the League and the United Nations, and a breach of international law and the principles of the international order.

Aboul Gheit receives Chinese Premier Li Qiang
	09/07/2025 Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, received Chinese Premier Li Qiang at the headquarters of the General Secretariat on 9 July. Mr. Li was accompanied by the Chinese Ministers of Finance and Commerce as part of a high-level delegation. The meeting took place during the senior Chinese official's visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
